June is Pride Month in the US, which has me thinking a lot about the world and how challenging life can be for people in the LGBTQ+ community. Pride is about standing up against discrimination and violence, promoting dignity and equality.

As someone involved in Inclusion & Diversity initiatives at my company, I want to be sure that we acknowledge Pride Month and what it's about -- it's far more than rainbows. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, protests after police raided a gay bar in New York City.

Enter the Fabulous Five: a group of volunteers who planned Pride events for our office. They've organized a variety of activities that combine learning, sharing, and connecting -- with plenty of fun and rainbows too! It's wonderful when people step up and lead. This group has done exactly that, and I am so happy and thankful for their efforts.
