Week 31: My Mechanic

My car had been making a strange squeaky, creaky noise for a while. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason for it. Sometimes I was going slowly, other times fast. Sometimes on smooth road, other times bumpy.
Every time I wanted to call the mechanic to schedule an appointment, the car stopped making the noise. Then, a few days later, it would start up again. Clearly, something was wrong, but it was difficult to pinpoint exactly what, especially when I couldn't reproduce the sound.
Finally, I took it to the mechanic. He drove the car around and -- no surprise -- couldn't hear a thing! But he believed me, and he gave my car a thorough inspection.
Sure enough, he figured out what was wrong (something about a stabilizer bar), and he fixed it. Luckily, it wasn't that expensive either!
Thanks to the auto mechanic who listens when I tell him there is a problem and takes good care of my car.
